Rutta De Bhed Bhare Khatt | ਰੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੇਦ ਭਰੇ ਖ਼ਤ

‘ਰੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੇਦ ਭਰੇ ਖਤ’ ਇਕ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਲਗਭਗ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਬੰਦਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਚੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸੋ, ਇਸ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਦੀ ਵੰਨ-ਸੁਵੰਨੀ ਪਰਵਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਲਘੂ ਮਹਾਂ ਕਾਵਿ ਹੀ ਆਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਬੂਬ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਲਘੂ ਮਹਾਂਕਾਵਿ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ 1963 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ‘ਪਿਆਰ’ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ।

“Ruttan de Bhed Bhare Khat” is a long poem composed of nearly five hundred stanzas. Thus, in terms of the experience of its varied themes and structure, we can refer to it as a short epic poem. Harinder Singh Mehboob wrote this short epic in 1963. The central theme of this poem is "love," with a continuous focus on femininity at its core.
