ਗੁਰਦੇਵ  ਚੌਹਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਰ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੁਲਾਂਘ ਪੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ,ਅਤੇ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨੇੜਲਾ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਘੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਵਿਚਾਰਕ ਉਚਾਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭਾਵਿਕ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੀਬਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਧਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਗੱਡਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਾਣਾ, ਵੱਧ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਕਾਵਿ-ਪੁਸਤਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਵਿਕ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਨਵਾਂਪਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਪੱਖ ਉਘਾੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
