ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਸਿਰਦਾਰ ਕਪੂਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਸਰਦਾਰੀ ਲਾਲ ਪਾਰਾਸ਼ਰ, ਫ਼ਾਊਂਡਰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਆਰਟ ਨਾਲ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ ਸੈਰਾਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਏ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਨਮੀ । ਪ੍ਰੋਢ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਪਾਰਾਸ਼ਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਜਗਿਆਸੂ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਪਜੇ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਖਕ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਤੇ ਫਲਸਫੇ ਦੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿਚ ਏਨੇ ਭਾਵਪੂਰਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਾਸ਼ਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਲੇਖਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਇਹ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਅਸਲੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੰਕਾਵਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੈ । ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਗਹਿਰਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਬੁੱਧੀਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਖਲਲ ਪਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਚਾਨਣ ਮੁਨਾਰਾ ਹੈ ।

This book was born out of deep discussions during long walks with Sardar Kapur Singh's close friend, Sardar Lal Parashar, the founding principal of the Shimla School of Art. The author has addressed the questions arising from Parashar Ji's pure and curious mind in such a profound manner, relating them to world history and philosophy, that Parashar Ji acknowledged that the author's interpretations are indeed new and free from skepticism.
