ਗੁਰੂ ਦਰ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਹਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਕੁਝ ਲੇਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਹੈ । ਭਾਵੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਲੇਖ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੈ । ਗੁਰੂ ਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਦਮ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਲੇਖ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿਤਾਬੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਛਪੇ, ਪਰ ਸਮਕਾਲੀ ਰਸਾਲੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ, ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ, ਦੇਸ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ, ਜਾਗ੍ਰਤੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਟ੍ਰਿਬਿਊਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਛਪਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਜਾਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ।
This collection comprises various articles related to Gurmat literature. While it includes some writings on Punjabi identity and culture, the majority focus on Guru teachings and their significance. The book features writings by Padam Ji that have not been previously published in book form, but have appeared in contemporary magazines such as Sant Sipahi, Gurmat Prakash, Punjabi Duniya, Des Pardes, Jagrati, and Punjabi Tribune, as well as in seminars organized by the Language Department and Punjabi University.
