ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੌ ਸਾਖੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ । ਇਹ ਇਸੇ ਆਸ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਚਨਾਂ, ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਮਿਲੇ ਕਿ ਡੋਲਦੇ ਮਨ ਠਹਿਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਗੁਰੂ-ਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਧਾਹ ਦੌੜੀਏ । ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਗੁਰਵਾਕਾਂ, ਸਿੱਖ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਛਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਨਿਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਬਚਨ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।

This book presents one hundred Sakhi (stories). It is written with the intention that through the words of the Guru and the actions of the Sikhs, we receive such illumination that our restless minds find peace, and we run towards the Guru's door. This book is a collection of Gurvakh (words of the Guru) and Sikh actions. It makes a humble effort to provide numerous teachings to guide our daily lives.
