Panjab Jinha Rahan Di Mai Saar Na Jaana | ਪੰਜਾਬ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਾਂ

2015 ਵਿਚ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ‘ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਸੁਰਾਖ਼’ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚਲੇ ਸੱਖਣੇਪਣ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੋਜ-ਬੀਣ ਦਾ ਬੀੜਾ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ । ਅਗਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਭੌਂਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੱਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਗਾਥਾਵਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤਸੱਵਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੇ ਹਕੀਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਵੱਡਾ ਖੱਪਾ ਹੈ । ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਰੂਪ-ਵਿਧਾ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਲਿਖੀ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤੱਥਾਂ ’ਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੇ, ਲੇਖਕ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ’ਚੋਂ ਕਸ਼ੀਦੇ ਅਨੁਭਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘੁਲ-ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਤੇ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਉਘਾੜਦਾ ਹੈ ।

In 2015, Amandeep Sandhu undertook the endeavor of exploring Punjab through his work Dil De Surakh, aiming to fill the gaps within it. Over the next three years, he observed that there was a significant divide between the imagined Punjab in people’s narratives and the real Punjab. Written from the perspective of literary journalism, this book weaves together historical facts, personal experiences from the author's life, and insights gained from his travels, revealing the ground realities and truths related to Punjab.
