This book includes love stories from the lives of some of the world's greatest writers, thinkers, and poets—Rabindranath Tagore, Balzac, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, Nietzsche, Rilke, Kahlil Gibran, Sartre, Mircea Eliade, and Amrita Pritam. These great writers and poets revealed many dimensions of love in their works and sang songs in praise of love. While reading these authors, every thoughtful reader is left wondering how these writers and poets must have experienced love in their own personal lives. However, only partial information about their love stories is available through their biographies and autobiographies. Until now, no book has exclusively focused on the love stories of these literary figures. This book is an attempt to fill that gap.
