Sultaan Razia | ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਰਜ਼ੀਆ

ਇਸ ਨਾਟਕ ਵਿਚ ਲੇਖਕ ਨੇ ਰਜ਼ੀਆ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ । ਰਜ਼ੀਆ ਦਾ ਔਰਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਯੁਗ ਦੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ-ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੱਤ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬਣ ਗਏ । ਇਹ ਮੱਧ-ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਸੀ । ਸ਼ੇਖ-ਉਲ-ਇਸਲਾਮੀ ਸੂਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਰੂੜ੍ਹੀਗਤ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਮੀ ਸਨ । ਅਮੀਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਜ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁਧ ਸਾਜ਼ਸ ਦਾ ਜਾਲ ਵਿਛਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ।

Her identity as a woman ruling over the great warriors of her time posed a defiant challenge that turned her courtiers and nobles into enemies. This was seen as an affront to the patriarchal norms of the medieval era. Supporters of traditional views, including the Sheikh-ul-Islam, opposed her reign. The amirs and ministers conspired against Razia, leading to her downfall.
