Bharat Da Ant | ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ

ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਮੁਹਾਵਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕਹਾਂਗਾ; ‘ਵਧੀਆ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ।’ ਇੰਗਰਸੋਲ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ ‘ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਚੰਗਾਈ ਹੈ: ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ: ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਪਲ ਹੈ: ਖੁਸ਼ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ, ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੋ।’

ਇਲਾ ਵੀਲਰ ਇਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ:
‘ਇੰਨੇ ਰੱਬ, ਇੰਨੇ ਧਰਮ, ਇੰਨੇ ਰਾਹ ਕਿ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰੋ... ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਉਦਾਸ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।’

I would express my belief in my faith through the saying, "A good life is the true religion." Ingersoll articulates this idea with the words: "Happiness is the true goodness: here is happiness: this moment is happiness: the only way to be happy is to help others."
