ਇਸ ਨਾਵਲ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਡ ਭੰਨ ਕੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਾ ਗੁਜਾਰਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਇੱਜਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ । ਲੇਖਕ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਪੀ, ਧੰਤੋ, ਕਿਸ਼ਨ, ਬੀਰੋ ਪਾਤਰਾਂ ਰਾਹੀ ਇਸ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ।

This novel presents the story of a woman who works tirelessly all day to earn a living, yet still lacks respect in her home. The author beautifully conveys this narrative through the characters of Taapi, Dhanto, Kishan, and Biro.
