ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਜਸਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲੜਾ (2.11.1952 - 25.10.1995) ਪੁੱਜ ਕੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ, ਦਿਆਨਤਦਾਰ, ਸਾਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਜਸਮਾ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਯੋਧਾ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇ ਜਰਵਾਣਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਹੇ, ਮਾਰੇ ਤੇ ਲਾ-ਪਤਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਬਣਿਆ । ਇਸ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਲੋਕ-ਨਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਮਈ ਜੀਵਨ-ਗਾਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਖਕ ਨੇ ਸੰਤੁਲਿਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਲ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਵਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ
